Preparing for the Exam
Successful CPP candidates typically spend at least three months preparing for the exam using the CPP content outline and Knowledge, Skills, and Ability statements as a guide. Because no single study tool should serve as the sole basis for exam preparation, PayrollOrg recommends using a combination of study materials and training resources.
To support your preparation, PayrollOrg offers a variety of books, courses, webinars, and other exam-focused study resources. You can also start with our free Preparing for CPP and FPC Exams webinar, an on-demand session designed to help you build a study plan and prepare with confidence.
Recertification by Exam
If you are currently CPP-certified and cannot satisfy the continuing education requirements for recertification, you may maintain your certification by recertifying through examination.
This requires the individual to take and pass the exam within the year that their designation expires.
