A curious instance of legal misfeasance occurred some time ago. It was brought to my attention just before it was referred to the authorities. The litigation had been ongoing for several years and late in 2022 a motion was made for appointment of an Expert Medical Advisor. About a month later, an EMA was appointed and trial was continued to accommodate the evaluation and testimony.

Dope is not a new topic. In Florida, we await November to see if the people will constitutionally de-criminalize dope. The vehicle for this effort is Amendment 3, and it was cleared for the November ballot by the Florida Supreme Court, according to the USA Today network. They refer to this as "recreational weed." Of course, there is no medical purpose to weed, so "recreational" is all it could be.

Its survey of 2,009 employees found that when asked why they did not call in sick when they needed to, 36% of respondents did not think there was anyone to cover them, 28% did not want to miss work and 16% had a deadline to meet.
